Beyond Access to Insulin: Two Approach to Care

Access to insulin is essential for people living with type 1 diabetes and those living with type 2 diabetes who use insulin. But for people to use insulin optimally, they must also have access to many other elements, including insulin delivery devices, self-glucose testing supplies, care, education and support.

This film, made in collaboration with Cloud9Media, and with the support of our partners in Tanzania and Krygyzstan, highlights some of the specific issues that are faced in  diabetes care in LMICs and outlines two examples of effective approaches to care.
