Tool Description
This Excel Calculator estimates the direct annual medical cost of providing clinical care for people with diabetes. It is based on prevalence estimates for type 1 and 2 diabetes and associated complications, normative estimates and values from the literature about adherence to recommended treatment guidelines, and price information for routine care and treatment of complications.
