Global Estimates 

Globally, it is estimated that 63.3 million people living with type 2 diabetes require insulin to  best manage their condition. However, currently only 30.2 million of these people have access to the insulin they need.  This number is only set to increase by 2030, when it is estimated that 79 million people will require insulin.
