The ACCISS Study

A solid understanding about the causes of barriers to insulin access is needed to address inequities and inefficiencies in the global insulin market. A global study, called ‘Addressing the Challenge and Constraints of Insulin Sources and Supply’ (ACCISS), sets out to do this and more.

ACCISS is co-led by Margaret Ewen and Molly Lepeska  (Health Action International), David Beran (Geneva University Hospitals and the University of Geneva), and Richard Laing (Boston University). The study’s Advisory Group brings together an unique group of leading international experts, along with other experts as needed.

ACCISS is funded by The Leona M. and Harry B. Helmsley Charitable Trust, and Stichting ICF.
